Can't Turn You Loose - Otis Redding
What an honor to be invited to participate in this immensely important project. Humbled thanks.
So, if we're listing the top hundred thousand, I suppose I can't really be wrong. I'll try.
Thinking about my 1st suggestion, I'm starting out thinking, "If I could play music for the first time to some far off galaxy's inhabitants, how would I start?" Play something that makes them DANCE!

"Fratelli D'Italia"
This is the Italian national anthem. It's Sousa meets Vivaldi meets Liberace with pagan lyrics. We had to sing this daily after the Star-Spangled Banner when I was a kid in American school in Sicily, so maybe the appeal is mostly nostalgic, but really, isn't it catchy?
